We used local materials and craftspeople to create a modernized farmhouse. Our bathrooms feature reclaimed ceramic Sicilian tiles sourced from a reclaim yard in Modica. Our wardrobes and trunks were sourced from Ragusan antique shops and were refurbished. We have restored the stone walls of the original farmhouse and added glass and metal features to tie in seamlessly with the structure. The kitchen is an Italian Design with Lava Stone Countertops sourced from ancient volcanic eruptions. The lighting design ensures always having enough illumination in all spaces with the beauty of updated Light Fixtures. Modern Air Conditioning and Heating units ensure that all rooms can be individually climate-controlled year round. The pool can be remotely controlled to guests’ preferred temperature.
